Rory Fitzpatrick (he/him) is a Writer and Director, passionate about creating exciting and original films through the lens of an LGBTQ+ artist. His work deals with Irish & Queer culture, often centered around a sense of place through the medium of magical realism.

His previous short “Where Will We Go” tackles the ongoing defective concrete crisis in the North West of Ireland, by exploring the psychological turmoil of living in a MICA affected home via experimental storytelling. The film was selected to premiere at Disappear Here Film Festival 2023 and was broadcast on Virgin Media as part of Inheritance Film Festival in the UK. Alongside directing, Rory also works as a lighting technician on independent film and commercials, which has informed his approach to short form media.
